VIKTOR MULATO

Viktor Mulato is majoring in Mathematics-AST and plans to attend UC-Davis in fall 2021 to earn a Bachelors’s degree in electrical engineering. He is a hard-working student who left everything behind in Guatemala to follow his dreams. As a first-generation and first family member to attend college, Viktor’s goal to pursue a college education was challenged due to his mother passing last year. Yet, he continued to excel during this challenging time, provided for his younger siblings, and earned honor roll four times. He aims to improve and expand electrical systems worldwide, especially in communities where their service is not available. This scholarship will aid Viktor during his transition to UCD as much as he has benefited from the services he received from EOPS, “EOPS has provided me with the resources I needed to succeed, from school supplies to even a job.”
